6:55am- Boring crew now has 80’ of casing in. A part has broke on the Boring machine and should be in sometime this morning. They are hoping to be done with this bore and have carrier pipe in by end of day this Friday.
Clearing, burning of brush and stripping of top soil continues on Laytons across the creek.
7:45am- Digging to lay more pupe again today as the crew nears MH A24.
8:45am- 1st joint in for today.
9:40am- 2nd joint in now that pump is moved to opposite side of trench.
10:40am- 3 joints in place as crew now digs out for MH A24.
11:00- a shot has been taken on the creek and the pipe at this point and it appears they are on the money!
11:35am- Boring crew has their parts now and will begin welding on their next piece of casing. 80’ is still where they stand right now.
12:25pm- pipe crew still moving material for manhole.
1:40pm- MH A24 base is now set along with the 4th joint of pipe for today.
Pipe is also lamped by laser back to MH A23.
3:00pm- manhole A 24 now stacked out as tracer wire is ran to the top for now.
4:30pm- bottom wrap done and straps attached.
5:20pm- top barrel getting straps. Backfill now.
5:50pm- appears that another 5’ of casing is now in as crew will continue until 7pm again tonight.
