7:30am- So the 6” pump is not working this morning. It appears that a belt is broke that runs the self priming portion of the unit. It will be taken to the top where a mechanic can work on it and hopefully be back up and running today.
Hole is completely full of water.
Dozer will be knocking down blasted area across the creek. Work on the bore pit on Laytons will occur today also.
9:40am- excavator digs on bore pit at Laytons crossing under railroad so grade can be shot.
10:00am- grade is figured and re shot.
11:00am- more drilling now occurs to get to grade.
2:18pm- 1st joint of the day now laid. Pump is back up and running.
2:45pm- 2nd joint now in. Gravel to follow.
3:10pm- Gravel almost done on 2nd joint.
3:55pm- 3rd joint now in place.
4:50pm- crew is stopping just short of the 4th joint today. 3 joints are all that is managed today. Diesel issues for equipment now plays into their hand...
