7:15am- met with Bill from Rail Pros along with Iowa Trenchless and Flat Creek.
7:40am- J-Mark surveying is also onsite to take shots on the rails.
8:17am- cutters touch concrete!
Wooden wedges are driven along casing to keep it centered.
9:01am- material begins exiting the augers.
9:40am- 2nd joint of pipe is laid so far today.
11:40am- 4th joint of pipe now laid in place.
1:35pm-5th joint now laid and Boring crew is nearing 10’ so far.
3:05 pm- more rock had to be broke...still at 5 joints.
3:45pm- 6th joint now in place.
4:55pm- approximately 18’ of casing is now in the ground at bore pit RR04.
Crew pulls power unit from hole for tonight.
5:25pm- due to hitting rock all day the crew laid 6 joints of pipe today or 84’ of 27” sdr35.
