7:15am- Blasters are here to drill today and rock is getting hauled to the bottom area.
Topsoil is getting moved so drillers can drill.
8:10am- Trackhoe blew a hose so dozer is now moving dirt. No crew doing pipe work at this time. Drillers are waiting.
-Iowa Trenchless is back onsite getting bore pit ready. Pumping water and will finish getting it set up today and should begin drilling tomorrow on RR04.
9:04am- drilling now underway as excavator continues to remove topsoil after getting hose fixed.
9:25am- Iowa Trenchless having a meeting as the hile is being pumped down. They will begin drilling tomorrow. A check of grade and final adjustments to take place today.
11:20am- dig out for pipe began and rock was immediately encountered that has to be broke by hammer. Im headed to test concrete at the Liftstaion.
1:30pm- Still no pipe laid at this time. Crew had to move their pumping to where they are at now.
2:10pm- 1st joint of the day now laid as more rock is needs broke out.
3:10pm- 2nd joint laid, but rock is needing broke again.
4:10pm- yes, 3rd joint laid and rock again...with more water coming in.
5:05pm- 42’ of pipe is all thats laid today. Crew is moving pump again to round out the day.
More Water is pouring into ditch now.
