7:05am- Crew getting onsite now. Yesterday allowed another 20’ of casing to be installed bringing total footage to 100’. Still holding level at this point. They should be able to get another 20’ or so today.
7:50am- crew checking pipe grade off bench mark this morning. It appears that they have lost any “fluff” that
they had at last manhole set (A22).
8:40am- 1st joint for today laid in place now.
9:45am- 2nd joint now in.
10:35am- 3rd joint now in place.
12:40pm- 4th joint now in as some rock had to be broke out with hammer.
1:10pm- 5th now in place.
1:50pm- 6th joint now in place.
2:50pm- 7th joint now in place.
More backfill occurring.
4:40pm- after much debate, the crew has now laid their 9th joint today. It will be the last due to inconsistency in the laser dot moving around. Its not heat related as I climbed into MH A22 where its located and there is a very cool draft coming through the pipe with the water running. 126’ of 27” sdr35 laid today.
5:15pm- ground moving at receiving pit on RR04.
5:40pm- trackhoe digs to expose bit.
6:00pm- Bit is through. Based on a quick percentage device, it is at 0%. Flat. Crew will cut head off in the morning and weld additional casing on and push it on out to staked point.
