6:45am- Iowa stated that they cut another 4’ yesterday then stopped to pull augers to make adjustments. They are now running flat. Work will continue today.
7:30am- crew preparing to get things moved back to MH A16 side to get to work on setting MH A16 today and getting it tied to both pipes.
More straps going on MH A17.
Looking through pipe from A16 side of bore back to MH A17.
9:40am- MH A16 base getting placed for pipe measurements.
10:30am- gravel going down now for grade to tie into bore piping.
11:50am- MH A16 is now connected to pipe line with final adjustments being made.
1:00pm- gravel going around pipes now.
2:20pm- area backfilled now to point of needing to set barrel section for MH A16.
2:45pm- crew went to lift casing at 18-19 and unfortunately it broke weld in the middle. It will all get pulled back out again for repairs.
3:30pm- more backfill after barrel section A16 was wrapped and strapped.
3:50pm- crew will continue with top section, wrapping and strapping; then finish with backfill for today.
4:40pm- Iowa has gained some footage today. They appear to be in around 70-75’ now.
