7:10am- Del-Sha will clean the bore hole one more time this morning and then start pulling casing. More pipe will also be laid on “A” line. Iowa Trenchless will be continuing with eir Bore at RR02.
8:10am- 1st joint laid here on “A”line. Crew is very near MH A13 now as the stake is right under excavator.
9:30am- RR02 bore in now in about 10’ or so.
Pipe crew is also breaking Rock for MH A13.
10:55am- 2nd joint as crew prepares to set MH A13.
12:00pm- MH A13 base is set and tied to line A with 10’- 4” of pipe making this mornings total to the manhole @ 38’ - 4”.
Line is also lamped by laser back to MH A12.
2:40pm- Bottom wrap and strap on, with barrel section set. Alignment to next manhole is done.
Also now, the excavator has decided to quit working. It has died and will not restart while digging out for first joint out of MH A13.
3:45pm- excavator is still having issues. Crew will be hauling gravel and backfilling the rest of today.
4:30pm- Del-Sha crew still reaming. They tried pulling casing earlier, but it got hung up...they will try again tomorrow.
