Manhole is in route from Springfield as crew prepares to lay more pipe today.
8:25am- Manhole has arrive and is unloaded.
9:25am- MH A31 is now set and line is lamped back to MH A30.
10:40am- 3 joints out from MH A31 now.
11:30am- 5 joints now laid. The pipe measures out to be 14’ belled up or laid in place. A stick measures 14.5’ bell to spigot.
I also had them check depth of gravel at a joint of pipe buried. I have instructed them to place more gravel atop the pipe that is laid.
11:45am- Skidsteer adding gravel to top of pipe. 7 joints now laid in place.
1:25pm- Digging out for MH A32.
2:30pm- 8 joints + 8.33’ or 120.33’ now laid between MH A31 - A32.
Line is also lamped from A32 to A31.
3:40pm- Barrel section now placed on MH A32. Grade is getting established for the pipe since this is a drop
Manhole.
5:00pm- Crew has now laid 3 joints from MH A32 upstream. Todays total pipe laid in place is 162.33’ and two manhole base sets, A31&32.
Crew will begin picking up tools as excavator continues to dig. No more pipe to be laid today.
