Turkey Creek Ph 1 - Flat Creek (Line Work)


7:10am- Tie in at MH A18 to occur, creek to be opened up all the way and crew will work to set MH A19. 



8:00am- Bore casing at WWTF getting laser checked for grades. 

8:30am- at 58’ in casing from WWTF side the grade is .64%. From this point on across to MH A3 side it flattens out to a .327%. Water does drain out from casing currently. Crew are rechecking all figures at this time and will come together later today for a final conclusion. 

10:30an- MH A18 is now tied to the carrier pipe in the bore. Rubber boot now going on pipes. 

12:00pm- MH A18 now has barrel section added; wrapped and strapped. 

12:55pm- backfill going around MH A18. 

2:10pm- 2nd short barrel section now on A18; wrapped and strapped. 

3:10pm- crew has now placed a joint that connects to carrier pipe in bore headed to MH A19 location. 

3:50pm- now digging out for MH A19. 

4:40pm- last joint is pushed into bore at the WWTF at this time. Grade by laser will be checked next. 

5:30pm- water is running through pipe at this time. I will check back Monday and see if there is standing water anywhere in it. 
Iowa Trenchless says that grade across entire bore is at .49%.
