6:55am- Pipe crew will lay more pipe today as they are nearing MH A6 area, with about 350’ to go. More Line and manhole testing will also be occurring.
7:19am- line test at MH A10-11 is getting set up this morning.
9:00am- test ball for line pressure has a malfunction at this time. The safety valve is not working properly... crew has been working to resolve the issue.
11:58am- pipe crew has 2nd joint in now. Overall a really slow day with both crews.
1:20pm- well, the new ball that the rental company brought out is leaking...crew will place the vacuum balls in this MHA10 and attempt a vacuum test now.
2:08pm- MH A10 is getting dug up at top ring to see if anything looks like it could be creating a no vacuum issue.
2:15pm- Pipe crew now laying 4th joint.
3:35pm- crew has dug down to bottom of lid joint and found a small leak. They will fix with ram nek and recheck vacuum.
3:55pm- MH A10 now passes vacuum test.
4:28pm- Pipe crew has laid 5 joints of pipe today. Excavator had issues with hoses blowing today. Backfill will round out the day.
