Turkey Creek Ph 1 - Flat Creek (Line Work)


6:48am- more rock to he broke on line onto MH A2. 

7:50am- more line testing and cleanup to occur in area of MH A6 -A3. 

9:00am- line test now underway from MH A4 - A5. 
348’ @ 1 hour and 41 minutes. 

10:48am- line passes air test from MH A4- A5. 

11:16am- more wrapping and strapping getting done today at MH A6. 

2:48pm- line now on test from MH A3 - A4. 570’ @ 2 hours and 45 minutes. 

3:42pm- MH A5 now wrapped and strapped the rest of the way. 

5:34pm- Line from A3 to A4 passes air test.

Turkey Creek Ph 1 - Flat Creek (Line Work)


6:52am- Excavator arrived at the WWTF late yesterday and began breaking rock. More rock will be broke out today here as this is the last run of pipe on the job now. 



12:16pm- rock breaking to resume yet today. Some down time this morning due to a hammer issue that the s now resolved. 

I will now be headed offsite.

Turkey Creek Ph 1 - Flat Creek (Line Work)


6:58am- more clean up will continue today from A6 -A3 and possible line testing. 

9:32am- Line from MH A6-A7 is now under test. 195’ @ 57 minutes. 

10:28am- line passes air test from MH A6-A7. 

1:40pm- Crew now has lune on test from MH A5 - MH A6.  862’ @ 4 hours and 10 mins. 

3:23pm- more strapping going onto manholes this afternoon. 

5:40pm- testing on line is almost complete. Lacking  10 minutes, but since gauge has not dropped any I’m calling it at an even 4 hours as passing.

Turkey Creek Ph 1 - Flat Creek (Line Work)


7:05am- Crew will be pumping water in order to finish stacking out MH A6 today.

9:04am- grading today on 12” line area on access roadway at power substation. 

10:15am- substation area now graded and access road too is also being graded. 



11:34am- wrapping and strapping of manholes will pick back up today at MH A4.

12:56pm- boot now going on bore casing and pipe here at A6 location. 

2:22pm- moving of spoils begins today. Crew to level up low spot between MH A3-A4.

3:25pm- MH A5-A6 is now lamped by daylight. 861’. 

3:43pm- gravel going in at boot now so that pipe can be backfilled. 

4:30pm- more spoil moving continues and will round out the day.

Turkey Creek Ph 1 - Flat Creek (Line Work)


12:00pm- crew is nearing MH A6 location. Good chance Manhole will be set today. 

1:34pm- joint 5 is laid and area dug on out to bore pipe. Gravel and grading for MH A6 next. 

2:11pm- grading out gravel for MH A6. 

3:00pm- taking measurements for pipe to meet manhole. 

4:30pm- manhole A6 base is now set and tied to bore pipe. 

4:45pm- gravel being placed. 

5:00pm- backfill begins. Crew will call it a day here shortly.

Turkey Creek Ph 1 - Flat Creek (Line Work)


6:50am- Testing crew is setting up a line test from MH A7-A8 this morning. Pipe crew will continue with laying pipe from roughly STA 19+ 70 upstream.  



7:37am- Line now on test from MH A7-8. 873’@4 hours and 13 minutes. 

7:54am- more fence work on Layton today at RR03 bore pit  area while test is going. 

8:16am- 1st joint going in for today so far. 

9:21am- 2nd joint now laid. 

10:11am- 3rd now getting placed. 

11:38am- 4th joint getting gravel. 

11:50am- Line passes air test from MH A7-8. 

12:39pm- MH A7 passes vacuum test. 

1:43pm- 5 joints are in as excavator now moves spoil pile from bore pit so that they can continue to dig. 

3:07pm- #6 & #7 now placed. 

3:52pm- 8th joint now being laid. 

Crew will also be moving pump now to MH A6 area to begin pumping water from it and continue moving spoil pile for needed room to work. 

5:16pm- water is now mostly out of MH A6 area.
