Turkey Creek Ph 1 - Flat Creek (Line Work)

7:10am- Water is getting pumped from bore pit 4 so that alignment of MH A27 can be made once laser is placed in bore pipe.

8:30am- MH A27 is not made correctly. Crew is now deciding what to do. Apparently the cut sheet was designed wrong. Manhole should be 180* straight through.

9:05am- crew is shooting grade between location of manholes and has refigured grade based on bore pipe elevation and drop in manhole A27, and the new pipe grade should be 1.12 percent. Scurlock is going to make a new manhole at this point.

10:00am- 1st joint of 12” sdr35 in headed towards MH A17 location. New grade is 1.12%.

10:15am- survey was just out and took their shots on the pipe at Bore 4 and their grade is .70%. The boot on the lower end of bore was removed this morning and water was drained prior to the survey crew shooting it. Laser reading at the time we checked before survey and with water drained was .635% vs yesterday’s reading of .565%.

10:20am- 3rd joint of 12” now going in.

10:55am- 5 joints are now laid as crew will stop here and backfill due to approaching rain storm.

11:20am- crew will take an early lunch and see if storm is going to pass...

12:05pm- I have been notified that the crew will be off for the rest of the day now.
