7:10am- Crew onsite on Laytons side now starting today. MH A9 will be where they start and will be headed back upstream towards Bore 3.
8:24am- crew unloading manholes while dozer is cutting in a staging area that will get covered with rock today.
9:10am- TBM and Offset shots are taken for the setting of MH A9.
10:10am- Layout and grade almost complete for MH A9.
11:10am- Base is now set here at MH A9 and both sections are on and wrapping and strapping is occurring.
11:30am- now digging for first joint of pipe under light rain.
11:50am- 1st joint of pipe now placed.
12:35am- more blasting today. Dozer clearing roadway to get it back open at bore pit 3 area.
1:30pm- 2nd joint of pipe now going in upstream of MH A9.
2:05pm- 3rd piece of pipe now going in.
2:35pm- 4th joint now being placed.
3:10pm- 5th joint now in place.
3:35pm- 6th joint now placed.
4:05pm- 7th and final joint for today. Gravel then backfill.
4:20pm- pipe is graveled up and backfill begins.
4:30pm- backfill done for today. 98’ of 27” PS46.
